Storm, Wind and Tree Damage in FishHawk
FishHawk sits inland, which helps, but the summer storms that track up the Alafia corridor still put wind and falling limbs on these roofs every year. The mature oaks and pines that make the older Ranch villages so pleasant to live in are the same branches that come down on them.

Most FishHawk roof replacements are a one day job on a typical Ranch home, weather permitting. Here is how it goes.
We start with an inspection and a written price, and that price is guaranteed, so what we quote is what you pay. On install day we protect the landscaping and the pool cage, tear the old shingles off down to the deck, replace any rotten sheathing we find underneath, then install new underlayment, flashing, shingles and ridge vent.
We clean up as we go and run a magnet over the yard and driveway before we leave, because nobody wants roofing nails in a driveway where kids ride bikes.
If your village has an approved color or product list, tell us up front and we will work inside it.

How fast can you get out to look at a leak in FishHawk?
Usually the same week, often sooner. We are based in Lithia, so FishHawk is a few minutes away rather than a cross county trip.
My roof is original to the house and it was built in 2003. Is it time?
Probably close. Twenty plus years is at or past the service life of most architectural shingles in Florida sun, but age alone does not decide it. We will get on it, look at the actual condition, and tell you where you stand.
My insurance company is asking about the age of my roof. What should I do?
Have it inspected before your renewal date rather than after. We will tell you what condition it is in and what a carrier is likely to say about it.
Half my street is getting new roofs. Do I need one too?
Not necessarily. FishHawk homes went up in tight clusters, so roofs come due in clusters, but exposure, tree cover and install quality vary house to house. Yours gets judged on its own condition.
